Speaking to residents about local government reorganisation
Earlier this month, Councillors including Councillor Neil Dallen and the Leader of Epsom & Ewell Borough Council Councillor Hannah Dalton (pictured) attended a local event to talk to residents about local government reorganisation. Councillors talked about the future of local government in Surrey including the government consultation taking place now, and an upcoming consultation about whether to create parish councils in Epsom & Ewell.
There is still time to have your say on the future of local government in Surrey.
The Government has launched a public consultation on major changes to how your council is run. The consultation will run for 7 weeks, until 5 August.
In the autumn, the Government will decide which proposal will be taken forward.
This is your only chance to influence that decision.
