The Arts Society Lecture

"George Villiers, Duke of Buckingham - the handsomest man in 17th century Europe", by Lucy Hughes-Hallett.

A favourite of King James I and later, chief minister to King Charles I; Buckingham surrounded himself with beautiful things and was not just a collector, but a patron of new works. 
Contemporary inventories allow us to reconstruct his collection that was scattered upon his murder aged 35.

Breathe explores the inner workings of trees, all beautifully realised through a combination of puppetry, detailed sets, and live camera work. Suitable for ages 5+.
