Casey oversees the day-to-day running of Epsom Market, as well as markets in Ewell and Stoneleigh - from supporting traders and ensuring safety standards, to planning special events and working to keep everything ticking along. His role is all about creating a vibrant, welcoming space for the community and helping to promote markets to attract visitors.

Casey says: “I love the community spirit. It’s so rewarding to see people come together, support local businesses, shop local and enjoy what the market has to offer. There’s a real sense of connection and pride in seeing the market bring people together and to know the market plays a part in that.”

Casey adds, "Managing logistics during busy periods or special events can be quite challenging, especially when unexpected issues arise like weather disruptions or last-minute cancellations. But it’s all part of the job, and problem-solving is something I’ve grown confident in so I try to take it all in my stride.”

Besides our normal Thursday and Saturday Markets in Epsom, there’s the Farmers Market on the first Sunday of each month that operates throughout the year.

At Bourne Hall, there is a Christmas Artisan Market on Saturday 6 December.
