Welcome to E-Borough Insight

Hello,

Welcome to the October's edition of E-Borough Insight, your email newsletter from Epsom & Ewell Borough Council.

Autumn is here and there are some truly beautiful colours in our green spaces. Here are some photos taken over the last few weeks at Rosebery Park in Epsom.

We hope as the days get shorter, more residents will go and make the most of everything this borough has to offer. The council has been working hard recently not just to make the area a more attractive place, but also a safer more enjoyable place for everyone.

As part of this, we are pleased to have worked with charities and community groups on two new public artworks in Epsom and Stoneleigh. It has been a great opportunity to get local people involved in revitalising neglected areas of the borough.

We are also happy to announce that three tennis coaching providers have now been approved for Auriol Park, Alexandra Park and Court Recreation Ground. These coach providers will increase the capacity for free tennis sessions on our courts.

As for Nonsuch Park, plans are now in place to introduce a dog walking licensing scheme next year, bringing dog walking in line with other commercial activities in the park and help reassure the public that commercial dog walking is responsibly carried out and regulated.

Coming up to Christmas, keep an eye on our social media channels for updates on events taking place around the borough, including the Christmas Light Switch On.
