Countryside guided walks in Horton Country Park
Hogsmill River summer stroll
Sunday 2 June; 2pm – 4.30pm
Discover the fascinating history of a river that once powered gun powder mills and was the haunt of the Pre-Raphaelite painters. Meet at Ewell Court House at 2pm.
Dragonflies and Butterflies on Epsom Common
Sunday 23 June; 2 - 4pm
Join in for a beginners guide to identifying butterflies, dragonflies and damselflies that inhabit this local nature reserve. Meet at Stew Ponds car park off Christchurch Road (B280) at 2pm.
All guided walks are with a member of our countryside team and take approximately 2.5-3 hours and can cover up to 3 miles. Walks cost £5 per adult, £2.50 per child (16yrs or under). No pre-booking required. Please wear appropriate clothing. Stout boots for walks and a raincoat when it’s wet. Please leave your dog at home on walks that involve looking for animals; otherwise they are welcome on a lead. Please note that walks may be subject to cancellation due to poor weather conditions. Epsom Common Association walks
Wild Flower Wander

Free admission. Pete Howarth from Epsom & Ewell Borough Council's countryside team will lead this popular walk to find and identify flowers found on Epsom Common local nature reseve. A walk on Ashtead Common

Free admission. Zuza Featherstone, from the City of London Ashtead ranger's team, will lead a walk on Ashtead Common to reveal the secrets and delights of Epsom's neighbouring common. Epsom and Ewell health walks
Epsom and Ewell health walks cater for all abilities. There are shot beginners walks on Mondays for those who are just getting back into exercise. There are also hour long walks on Wednesdays and Sundays for anyone who would like to walk a little further and at a faster pace. Walks are free and there is no need to book.
