The 100th anniversary of the birth of Frank Hampson
Until 12 March 2019; 9.30am - 5pm
Bourne Hall Museum, Spring Street, Ewell KT17 1UF
An exhibition about the life of the gifted illustrator Frank Hampson who came to Epsom in the early 1950s is on display at Bourne Hall Museum. The display will include original artwork which has been loaned by Peter Hampson, Frank’s son, including a front page of the Eagle – drawings of Treens, Therons and other alien characters from the comic – and covers drawn by Frank for the popular Ladybird books and the popular annuals. Don't miss this popular exhibition!

Charity Car Boot Sale supported by AutoTest, Ewell in aid of Epsom Medical Equipment Fund
Sundays 3, 17 & 31 March; 8am - 12.30pm
Epsom General Hospital KT18 7EG
Cars £10, Small vans, MPV and 4WD £12, larger vans from £15, Trailers £3 extra. Refreshments available. Toilets on site; main bus route - buses stop outside. All entrance donation and vehicle fees will go towards the purchase of medical equipment for Epsom General Hospital which will benefit the local community. All profits from individual sales are for sellers to keep. No booking necessary. Hard standing so not cancelled due to rain. Epsom’s hugely popular Annual Charity Book Fair is now in its 18th year. Held over three days at Epsom Methodist Church in Ashley Road, this annual event supports the work of a variety of national and local charities including Action for Children and scouting and guiding in Epsom.
