Borough Insight

In this issue...

It’s the first e-borough Insight of the year and this year looks like it is going to be an interesting one! Not least because of the b-word, so we take a quick look at how Brexit is already touching us at a local level.

We have borough elections in May and you’ll have the opportunity to elect your local representative to this council for the next four years. Now’s the time to consider if you could be that councillor.

In this issue we also look at a couple of concerns that residents have raised with us in the last month, including how we help those sleeping rough on our streets and what’s happening with the Hogsmill river.

There’s also a great competition for children, news about a film we have produced with the UCA to help local businesses and others, updates from community groups, useful information from the County Council and others you may not have seen elsewhere and a roundup of community, sporting and leisure events for the month ahead.

As it’s the first e-borough Insight of the year, can we wish you a very prosperous, healthy and happy 2019.
