Borough Insight

In this issue...

The nights are drawing in, the clocks go back this weekend, the car has been filled with winter screen wash and Christmas puddings have returned to the supermarket shelves – November is on its way!

This November is significant as the country concludes the activities marking the centenary anniversary of the First World War. We’ve featured local events in the paper version of Borough Insight (which should be hitting letter boxes around now), in the last issue of e-borough Insight and in this issue we include a couple more community WW1 events which we were not aware of previously.

This month we are continuing our push on the Future40 engagement, our initiative to shape a long term roadmap for the borough based on your input.

There’s also news on how we’re investing in the borough, the latest improvements we’ve introduced to our on-line ‘self-serve’ facilities, updates on recycling and information on who won what at the borough’s sports awards and there are all the latest activities and news from partner organisations.

Sir Walter Scott wrote that ‘November's sky is chill and drear’ so wrap up warm and take solace that it will soon be Christmas!
