Round the Borough Hike - it's back!

The popular Round the Borough Hike takes place on Saturday 8 September.

Now in its seventh year, this predominantly off road 20 miles walk offers the chance to explore the diverse open spaces within Epsom and Ewell.

Setting off from Horton Country Park at 8.30am; the family friendly route takes between six to nine hours depending on length and frequency of breaks (and visits to local hostelries)!

The route is available to download and view on a smartphone - this is not essential as for the day, the route is fully marshalled, signposted and physical maps are available.

Are you up for the challenge?  While the there is no charge to take part, we do ask that you register in advance, so that we know how many are coming and can be suitably prepared.

Call for volunteer marshals

Would you be willing to volunteer at our forthcoming Round the Borough Hike?

In order to deliver this event we need to ensure we have plenty of marshals out on the route as well as helping at the registration desk. We would be ever so grateful if you would consider supporting this event and offering to volunteer for 2-3 hours at some point between 7am – 5.30pm on Saturday 8 September. To make things easier we have developed an on-line registration form for our volunteers so if you are interested and available to help please complete the form by clicking the link below.
Once submitted your form will be sent directly to the Leisure team at the Town Hall  and will only be processed by them and no other third party.
