Don't you know there's a war on?
Wednesday 21 August, 2pm - 3.30pm
Find out how local people defended their town, families and community during the dark days of WW2. As the sandbags were piled high, barrage balloons filled the air and children were evacuated, the people of Epsom and Ewell made ready to do battle on the Home Front. Discover just what things could fall out of the sky get to handle some of them! Learn how to survive a gas attack and see the different types of gas masks in use. Would you know how to deal with a fire bomb?

Anglo-Saxons and Vikings craft session cave painting
Tuesday 27 August, 10.30 to 12pm and 1pm to 2.30pm (two identical sessions)            
Spend the a session learning about the Anglo-Saxons and Vikings. Was this really the dark Ages? Learn what great crafts people they were and be inspired to make your own Saxon inspired artefact.

Cave Painting
Wednesday 28 August, 11am - noon and 2pm - 3pm (two identical sessions)
In the deep time of prehistory early men crawled down into the darkest caves and used light from primitive candles to paint pictures of themselves and the animals they hunted. They left behind a vivid record of their way of life and some clues of what they believed in. Discover how and why these paintings were created. Then by flickering light try to create your own cave painting in our very own ‘caves’.

Dinosaur craft session
Thursday 29 August, 10.30 - noon and 1pm to 2.30pm (two identical sessions)
Discover about the evolution of dinosaurs and enjoy an arts and crafts session and design your own dinosaur  
Suitable for ages 5-11.

To be a pilgrim
September 21, 1pm - 2.30pm
The 400th anniversary of the sailing of the Mayflower.

Unless otherwise stated, Kids Club sessions cost £5 each per child (includes 1 accompanying adult).
