Borough Insight

In this issue...

This month we feature the good, the bad and the ugly.

The good outweighs the more negative aspects by a long way, and includes the successes of the borough’s youngsters at the Surrey Youth Games, the latest award for the Rainbow Leisure Centre, the progress at both Horton Chapel and the Market Place and some positive activities undertaken by the local community.

The bad is that we have been forced to undertake some prosecutions and the downright ugly is the banning of a couple of troublemakers from our car parks.

Community events this month include raising the flag in advance of Armed Forces Day, our family day to mark the anniversary of D Day at Bourne Hall, Epsom Common Day, a refugee network family event and the annual Ewell Village fair.

We’re also highlighting your opportunity to register your views about Heathrow’s expansion.
