It’s been three weeks since we launched Future40, a large-scale project to develop a long-term vision for the borough. The Council’s largest and most important consultation is open until 20 December, but already we have had a great number of responses… (601 if you’re counting)!
The #Future40 team have been hard at work engaging with people around the borough, listening to their views and ideas for the future. You might have spotted us in Epsom Market Place at the Farmers' Market earlier this month and on Market Day today! But if you missed us, we’ll be rolling out the Comms Van again at the:
- Satisfied Eye International Film Festival Street Food Market on Sunday 28 October from 11am - 3pm
- Epsom Farmers' Market on Sunday 4 November from 9.30am - 1.30pm
Hope to see you there!
We’ve had lots of positive feedback – a favourite so far is the amount of green space and parks we have in the borough. We have also had a number of interesting points raised from a range of topics including economic development and digital technology to communities, health, wellbeing and more…!
Here’s a snippet of some of the words people use to describe Epsom and Ewell…
“Epsom can be very proud that so many people love and care about the borough.”
