Countryside guided walks
After Dark Bat Walk on Epsom Common 
Saturday 8 September; 7.30pm - 9pm
Advance booking only! It's one of our popular walks, so please do book early. Find out more about the lives of these fascinating flying mammals that live on Epsom Common local nature reserve. Meet at the Stew Pond car park off Christchurch Road (B280), Epsom. Sorry, no dogs allowed on this walk.
All guided walks are with a member of our countryside team and take approximately 2.5-3 hours and can cover up to 3 miles. Walks cost £5 per adult, £2.50 per child (16yrs or under). Please wear appropriate clothing. Stout boots for walks and a raincoat when it’s wet. Please leave your dog at home on walks that involve looking for animals; otherwise they are welcome on a lead. Please note that walks may be subject to cancellation due to poor weather conditions. Epsom Common Association walks
This series of free nature walks on Epsom Common are organised by the Epsom Common Association. They are led by local experts and are an excellent way to discover some of the many birds, insects and wildflowers that can be found on the Common.
Fungus Foray
Sunday 9 September; 10.30am - 12.30pm
Join Dick Alder and Mike Waterman of the West Weald Fungus Recording Group to find, identify and record the varying and interesting types of fungus to be found on Epsom Common.
Meet at the Stew Pond car park noticeboard at 2pm, Christ Church Road, B280, Epsom. Wear suitable footwear and clothing to suit weather conditions, walks will last 2-3 hours. For more information visit: www.epsomcommon.org.uk
Epsom and Ewell health walks
Epsom and Ewell health walks cater for all abilities. There are shot beginners walks on Mondays for those who are just getting back into exercise. There are also hour long walks on Wednesdays and Sundays for anyone who would like to walk a little further and at a faster pace. Walks are free and there is no need to book. You can just turn up at your chosen venue and join in.
