European Parliamentary Elections

European Parliamentary Elections 2014The next scheduled elections in Epsom & Ewell are the European Parliamentary elections on Thursday 22 May 2014. This is when voters can choose who they want to represent the UK in the European Parliament. Although the election will be held on 22 May the results will not be known until the following Sunday 25 May, because unlike the UK who vote on a Thursday most other European Countries vote at the weekend. The results of the Election will be announced after the polls close on the Continent and voters will then discover who will be their new MEP’s representing them in the European Parliament.
