Night Bat Walk

Price: £5 per adult, under 16s £2.50

Go batty on Epsom Common! Find out more about these fascinating and misunderstood mammals. Bring a head torch/torch and wrap up warm. Sorry, no dogs allowed on this walk. Advance booking only. Meet at the Stew Pond Car Park for 7.30pm.

Epsom Sounds Music Festival

This year's event promises to be bigger and better than last year's fantastic debut! Live music, from some of the area's best local bands and artists, will starts from 2pm and continues until midnight with something for everyone including rock, pop, soul, country, jazz and much more. Most importantly, the festival is being held in support of the independent local charity Age Concern Epsom & Ewell. To help raise funds there will be a grand prize draw.

Museum Kids Club: Victorian Shopping

Recommended for children ages 8 - 12+ (children must be supervised for the duration of the event)

Step into the world of shopping and trading at this fun, hands-on Kids' Club session. Become a shopkeeper or a customer and decide what you would sell, buy and even eat! A fun and educational activity for curious young minds, packed with imaginative play and learning.

Celebrate National Inclusion Week with 'Be an Includer' an exhibition at Bourne Hall created in collaboration with Include Choir. Discover how we can help create welcoming communities for people with understanding and/or speaking difficulties, and learn simple ways to ensure everyone feels valued and included. To mark the end of Inclusion Week and the exhibition, Include Choir will present a special performance, bringing their unique blend of music, inclusive communication and joy.

The Kilkennys

A traditional Irish folk and ballad band who are noted for their dynamic arrangements, energetic performances and charismatic rapport with audiences around the globe. In previous years, this four-piece group have shared the stage with artists such as Shane McGowan, Sharron Shannon and Finbar Furey. Their much acclaimed studio album 'The Colour of Freedom' (2014) features a mix of original material and well known ballads like 'Rocky Road to Dublin' and 'South Australia'.

The Neil Diamond Story

Described in Las Vegas as "one of the world's finest vocal tributes to Neil Diamond", Bob Drury has been captivating audiences for over 15 years with his remarkable vocal likeness. His career has taken him across the UK, Europe and the United States, and includes special performances for the American Neil Diamond Fan Club in Nashville and Las Vegas. Bob and his band will take audiences through five decades of unforgettable songs including Cracklin' Rose, America, I Am... I Said and of course Sweet Caroline.

Epsom & Ewell also has several beautiful open spaces which are great for cycling, including Epsom Downs, Epsom Common Local Nature Reserve, Nonsuch Park, Hogsmill Local Nature Reserve, and Horton Country Park Local Nature Reserve. You can find cycling routes for all these places on our website.

Epsom Common Association (ECA)

ECA supports the preservation and protection of Epsom Common local nature reserve and site of special scientific interest. ECA works in partnership with the Council, the Lower Mole Countryside Management Project and English Nature to contribute to the long term management and conservation of the Common.

Nature walks
ECA organises a number of walks on the Common each year which are led by local natural history experts. The subjects that are usually covered each year include birds in early spring, wildflowers, butterflies, invertebrates particularly bush crickets, bats and fungi. 

The EcoVols
If you care about the Common and enjoy its wildlife and beauty why not join the EcoVols, the volunteer group of the ECA. EcoVols carry out a variety of conservation projects on the Common throughout the year in association with English Nature, the Council and the Lower Mole Countryside Management Project.
