Welcome to E-borough Insight
Introduction to the April edition of E-Borough Insight, Epsom & Ewell Borough Council's monthly newsletter.
Welcome to the June edition of e-borough insight, your monthly newsletter from Epsom & Ewell Borough Council.
We're delighted to share the latest edition of our resident newsletter, created to keep everyone informed, connected, and engaged within our community.
Our newsletter is your space to stay up to date with important announcements, upcoming events, helpful updates, and stories that celebrate the people who make our community such a special place to live.
A key highlight is the continued progress of the Local Plan, now in the Examination Stage. The recent five-week consultation invited comments on documents submitted to the Government-appointed Inspector since October 2025, including additional sites that could potentially be allocated through modifications to the Plan.
Supporting residents’ health and wellbeing remains a priority. In this edition, we showcase opportunities such as free tennis and Access to Activity bursaries for eligible 12 to 15-year-olds. The Rainbow Leisure Centre continues to play an important role in helping residents improve their fitness and mobility, offering activities both on-site and through outreach services; Councillor Clive Woodbridge also explores the EGYM app, designed to support both rehabilitation and general fitness.
Through partnerships, cultural opportunities and inclusive events, we remain committed to ensuring that everyone feels welcomed, valued and able to take part in community life.
Thank you for being a valued part of our community — we hope you enjoy reading!
