Join David Brooks at Bourne Hall for the next museum workshop for children aged 8-12+.
This workshop is to commemorate the 80th anniversary of VE Day. Epsom and Ewell suffered heavily from bombing in World War 2 and from 1940 to 1944, 890 alerts were sounded, 384 people were injured by enemy action and 33 killed.

The Royal British Legion Poppy Hike is taking place in the beautiful Surrey Hills on Sunday 18 May. Starting and finishing at Epsom Racecourse, you’ll hike through stunning landscapes and through a Centenary Wood which commemorates the sacrifices made in WWI.
With three distances available, 6, 15 or 21 miles, this event is suitable for most abilities, and for those wanting a challenge.

Have a go at lawn green bowls, a sport suitable for all age groups, and have some fun. Beginners and experienced bowlers welcome. All equipment will be provided - just wear flat shoes or trainers.

Enjoy a walk along the Hogsmill Local Nature Reserve with a member of the Countryside Team. Learn about wildlife found along the river and the history of the gunpowder mills, once powered by the river. Meet at Ewell Court House for 2pm
