Welcome to E-Borough Insight

Introduction to August edition of Eborough Insight, the Epsom & Ewell Borough Council newsletter.

Hello,

Welcome to the September edition of eBorough Insight, Epsom & Ewell Borough Council's monthly newsletter.

Are you considering doing some planting in your garden over the next few weeks? Autumn is a great time to get plants in the ground as it's cooler than the summer - and more rainy. If you're doing some planting, consider supporting local wildlife by adding native plants, shrubs, or trees (those that grow naturally in Britain) into your garden. They will provide food and habitats for insects and animals living nearby.

Our wildlife has evolved to depend on native species, so they are much more likely to survive when they are around. For a list of native trees and shrubs, take a look here: rhs.org.uk/native-tree-shrubs
