On yer bikes!

It's back!

The annual Round the Borough Bike takes place on Sunday 13 May.RTBB 2018

Beginners and keen cyclists alike are invited to explore this mostly off-road 20 miles route that joins up some of the most stunning scenery in Epsom and Ewell, including Epsom Downs, Epsom Common, Nonsuch Park, the Hogsmill and Horton Country Park.

Last year over 200 individuals took part.

Epsom and Ewell Borough Council launched the Round the Borough Bike in 2014, to build on the legacy of the London Olympics and the borough hosting stage 7 of the 2013 Tour of Britain.

Although the way is permanently marked, for the event marshals are in place at various points around the route, to ensure no one gets lost, and participants who complete the route will receive a certificate in recognition of their achievement.

Off-road cycles are recommended.

There will be a staggered start at Horton Country Park with the fastest leaving at around 9.15am with those wanting a more laid back experience departing at 9.30am

Registration is on-line via the Council website www.epsom-ewell.gov.uk/rbhb until Thursday 10 May. Those unable to register on-line should aim to be at the start for 9am on the Sunday for registration.

Are you able to help volunteer at this popular event? We have roles for volunteer marshals out on the route and to help at the registration desk. If you are you are able to spare 2-3 hours at some point between 8am - 5pm during the day please fill in our online volunteer registration form. Once submitted your form will be sent directly and processed only by our Leisure Developments Team and no other third party.
